Linds and I met up with Miss K in Durham last fall. She was recommended by one of my OG girls in the Durham area, shout out to all the babes sharing about their FF experiences. She was actually Miss K’s NICU nurse and they bonded while Miss K was waiting for her sweet premie to be released.

When asked why she chose to do a Fearlessly Feminine Shoot Miss K shared:

“After delivering my son at only 27 weeks gestation, I felt that my body failed. I’ve done a lot of work mentally to love myself and the beautiful baby boy it gave us. This shoot was part of that process to help me reclaim my confidence and feel beautiful in my own skin again.”

I can’t tell you the magic I felt hearing Miss K tell me about Miss J encouraging her to do a session to feel empowered in her body. Ugh, I just love my FF babes so much.

Miss K had her session on a gorgeous, sunny, fall day in Durham. We drank an amber colored, French Pinot Grigo and it felt like a dreamy day to be alive and hype up this phenomenal momma!

Miss K opted for the Renewal add on and those images felt so her! I adore the natural light in that powder room. I loved her tiny Octopus tattoo (the length of her son when he arrived) and the way she jumped into this experience with such initiative!

What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part was trying outfits and poses that were outside my comfort zone. It was amazing how I walked in timid and walked out so confident.

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

Confident, beautiful, strong, and sexy! Instead of looking at what I see are imperfections, I got to see myself as the beautiful woman I am.

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

Absolutely!!
