Miss J’s boudoir session was a gift from her to her husband. He travels for work, and she wanted to give him something that reminded him of her love for him while he was away. I loved getting to work with her and create beautiful images for herself and her husband to enjoy! Miss J is a mom, and works in education! She and her husband were just recently married, but she speaks of him with so much love, they could easily have known each other for a lifetime!
Miss J, I so admire your passion for your family and your work, and I especially admire your love for your husband! I hope you both love these images, and that they help with your time apart while he is away.
You can read more on what Miss J had to say about her session below:
Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?
-Being 45 and counting… I wanted to do something super special for my husband, with photos that captured me in the most beautiful, flattering way. I wanted a mix of sexy and sweet for husband … photos that conveyed my personality and love for him.
What was your favorite part of the experience?
-My favorite part was the feeling of excitement that I had knowing I was doing something so special for my husband, and feeling confident in it due to the energy and positivity, compliments and smiles that Alisha and her assistant brought to the session.
How did your boudoir session make you feel?
-In one word… Beautiful. Kana, at the Beauty Room, started my day with simply beautiful makeup, and then Jessica did a fabulous job on my hair. It was gorgeous. Alisha and her assistant made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout my session. Doing a boudoir session in your 40’s is a little intimidating, but I walked away feeling so excited about my photos and just simply beautiful.
Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?
-Yes.
Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?
-Yes.. Would recommend to anyone wanting to do something special, not just for a significant other, but for themselves.
What did you do to prepare for the shoot?
-Gathered outfits, accessories, created a Pinterest board of some of my favorite boudoir ideas. The day of was so relaxing.. showered, went to the Beauty Room for makeup and Alisha’s for hair by Jessica.
What image was your favorite?
-This is difficult… but I loved the photo of the black two-piece outfit where I am lying on the bed with my knees bent where you can see my heels. I remember feeling so beautiful in that outfit, and I love my hair, my makeup, and my expression conveys that. I also love my booty in this! Thanks, Alisha!
What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?
-Album, with the app for my husband.
