five steps to actualizing your boudoir session

Leap out of your comfort zone and say yes to investing in yourself! We can't wait to celebrate you!

As we begin planning our 2023 Destination Boudoir Trip, I adore reliving all of the sessions from previous trips! Bringing my client’s vision to life is one of my favorite forms of creative expression.

I love that she fully immersed herself into the boudoir experience and truly made the shoot a steamy reflection of her authentic self. Truly forever obsessed with the sunhat and cigar videos we documented. Miss T introduced Miss C to me, and she hit it off immediately with the entire group of Greece babes! So many of our babes embark on these destination trips with their best friends and we couldn’t love it more! So often if you’re a perfect match for us as a client, so are your girlfriends!

Miss C, thank you for trusting me with your first Destination Boudoir experience as a woman who loves to travel, I feel honored you chose to adventure with us! The FF Team thinks you’re fabulous! 💕

I had heard good things about the FF team from friends and have always wanted to go to Greece! Combining two bucket list items into one was a big sell for me. I normally like to plan vacations myself but given this was more of a relaxing trip as opposed to a go-and-see-all-of-the-sights trip, I appreciated it being planned and not having to do a thing myself.

I very much appreciated all of the guidance! Having this as my first session, I literally had no idea what I was doing or how to pose in a way that the camera liked. All suggestions on poses and locations eased my worries about that! I also loved that the team was flexible and able to think on their feet quickly and incorporate my cigar into the shoot.

I loved that the villa had views for days and a lot of different architecture to play with but also was secluded enough that you didn’t have to worry about being naked or having people creep on you. I also enjoyed even some of the mini sessions (like Santorini or some extra time at Scorpios) – you didn’t need a lot of time but it added a LOT of variety to the album which I appreciated!

I loved the entire day on the water. Put me on a boat and I am happy! It was nice to see other people in front of the camera so you could get ideas of your own but also had more private times to shoot as well.

Yes – we spent a day in Athens to see the ancient sites, something that I’ve been wanting to do for ages! It was pretty easy to do as our flight was in and out of Athens so it was a quick/easy add-on.

Yes! Getting to know everyone ahead of time helped me feel more comfortable throughout my shoots. It also probably allowed the team to understand our personalities more and work that into the shoots as well!

I would be very intrigued by a Central/South American destination – there are so many options of background (beachy, resort-y, mountains, rainforest) and a lot of really rich culture and architecture!

Drink all of the water. I was so dehydrated the entire trip that any gains I had made from diet and exercise were thrown out the window! I was so bloated that I was majorly uncomfortable for most of the trip, which then both physically and mentally affected my shoots. This could have been avoided if I had drank more water!

Pinterest board of boudoir and vacation pics for inspo and for what to expect. Detailed packing list, including what to wear on each day, I never do this normally as I like to dress for my mood, and pack VERY light (carry-ons only!) because I’ll usually just re-wear outfits. That was not possible for this trip so I needed to make sure I planned what I was wearing each day, otherwise, I’d be bringing about 4 suitcases, which doesn’t work for anyone!

Yes! It was much less painful than having the whole bulk taken at once, particularly with the uncertainty of if the trip would go through bc of previous Covid regulations.

1. Don’t be the stereotypical American. Be respectful of other cultures, learn a few phrases in another language if applicable, converse with the locals, and try food that you wouldn’t normally eat! Go off the beaten path to get more of a local flavor as opposed to only seeing the areas Instagram wants you to see. You want to see the country/city you are in, not just the touristy version of it. There are beautiful local favorites that are not as well advertised.
2. Research your location and make sure that anything you want to do is included in the trip or that you have extra time to do it on your own. You don’t want to travel all the way around the world only to come back home and realized you missed something you would have wanted to do!

Yes. The updates as well as the incredibly detailed guides were super helpful to make sure we had everything needed in terms of rules but also “just in case” items. Those emails were understandably very long but totally worth it.

I wanted to go on the boat, so that’s for sure what drove my package selection!
