When you’re envisioning a vacation in Greece, it’s Santorini that fills your dreams and for good reason. The white-washed buildings glittered with blue tops at sunrise are worthy of obsession.

Miss T and I both got teary-eyed as we watched the vision she had for her Streets of Greece session unfold so perfectly.

This was her second destination boudoir session and with each shoot we design together I fall more in love! This entire session was inspired by her vision for her brand new home and I’m forever obsessed with her immaculate attention to detail. Seriously, this girl should be an interior designer!

We photographed in both Santorini and Mykonos, and I adored bringing her vision to life as much as continuing to grow our friendship!

Miss T,  I can’t wait to see what your next travel destination session brings and I know we’ll be friends creating photographic magic for years to come! Thank you for your constant support of Fearlessly Feminine and your devotion to making our brand better, with heartfelt feedback. I value you so much! I’m so proud of the album we created and I hope you look back years from now and remember all your exhilarating travel adventures and the way you prioritize self-love.

Why did you choose to book a Destination Fearlessly Feminine session? And what convinced you to say “Yes!” to this experience?

I love the story telling behind photography and especially with boudoir. The shoot in Greece was my 2nd boudoir shoot with my first being in Paris back in 2019 with the FF team. I chose to shoot in Paris because it was a celebration of where I am from, both culturally and who I am as a woman. I am Asian-American and also part French and it felt incredible to embrace my femininity in Paris. In my mid-20s, I had to cancel a fully funded trip to Greece because of work pressure. I didn’t think I would shoot another boudoir session so close to my first one. However, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot in Greece, because this time, I was celebrating myself as an independent woman, no longer succumbing to work or societal pressures. I said “Yes!” to Greece because this experience was my way of celebrating who I had become.

What was your favorite part of your session?

I loved shooting on the Streets of Santorini – I seriously cried a little bit while we were getting my shots overlooking the Aegean Sea with the Santorini white landscape in the background – everything came full circle for me. On top of that, I loved shooting a portion of my boudoir shoot in Scorpios beach club in full lingerie – as an Asian woman, we grow up being taught to hide behind our sexuality and femininity instead of leaning into it and embracing it. Scorpios in my mind was “boudoir on location” with more than just the FF team there to see and I felt extremely empowered, gorgeous and a little bit like a model shooting on site!

What was the highlight of your trip?

Spending time with the FF team and the other girls/guys on the trip! That was one of the things I wished we did more of in Paris, and so I’m glad the FF team made it happen this time around!

Did you travel anywhere outside the FF destinations? Where did you go?

Due to COVID restrictions, I stayed in Greece but spent a day in Athens to explore!

Did you enjoy spending extra time with FF team? Dinner, excursions, etc..

Loved it! I was honestly also looking for a planned vacation where I just needed to show-up and the FF team delivered. My favorite restaurant EVER is Noema and who would’ve thought one of my favorite dishes was an egg in mushroom ragu with truffles?

Would you do another destination boudoir session? If so, where would you like to go?

I would! I would love to shoot in Italy. If I could describe Italy for a boudoir session, it would be: timeless romance. I just swoon over the thought of doing a couple’s boudoir session in Italy.

What would you tell someone considering a FF Destination Session?

Just book it already!!

What did you do to prepare for your destination boudoir session?

I planned out all of my outfits and I pinned poses in Pinterest.

How long did you prepare for your travels to Europe?

Since the FF team did most of the heavy lifting with planning the excursions, it did not take me long to prepare for the trip. There was a little bit of non-normal preparation due to COVID, but the general planning was not long.

Where did you shop for your outfits?

Vici, Petal & Pup. For boudoir outfits specifically: Victoria’s Secret, Gooseberry, Toluca Swim

What would you do differently next time in planning your travels abroad?

I would travel to another country after the FF trip, time and COVID permitting!

Were the payment plans helpful?

YES. I also loved that the FF team allowed us to upgrade our packages closer to the date of the trip. They are really flexible and willing to work with you – so if the price tag of this experience is your biggest obstacle – don’t let it be!

Do you have any helpful travel tips to anyone that might be thinking of traveling abroad?

Have low expectations, especially when traveling now. Even if you were a seasoned traveler before the pandemic, many things have changed and you’re out of practice! As best as you can, go with the flow and have fun! Also sign-up for airline points – you can be strategic about your traveling so that you can fly off of airline points OR accumulate points and save them for long flights so you can put your name on the upgrade list to business/first class. I got really lucky and my flight got upgraded to business class from Chicago to Athens and it was a great way to start off an already boujee trip (and I got so much sleep on the flight, which helped a ton when I finally landed in Santorini!)

What was the most memorable moment from your experience?

I loved the dinner at the villa with the private chef. The food was amazing and I’m pretty sure we had to finish 10 (or something like that :)) bottles of wine between 12 people. It was so much fun and memorable because I think we ALL really let loose that night. I only knew a handful of people going into the trip, but by the time we left it felt like I’d known everyone for years.

Did you feel prepared for your destination session? If not, please explain how we can be more helpful in the future!

I had many more shoots this time around so I felt a little less prepared relative to my shoot in Paris, but that was largely due to the fact that I only shot in the hotel in Paris. The one thing I would change is I wish I would’ve done more research on exactly where to shoot in Santorini for the streets session. Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE the shots that I’ve seen so far in Santorini and I think we got some blue domes in my shots, but I wish I would’ve done more research on where to find the famous three blue Santorini domes that make up the iconic skyline. But regardless, I know I’m going to love my photos when I see them and what was cool about this destination session is I shot at 5 or 6 different locations across Santorini and Mykonos, which is pretty cool!

Did you feel safe traveling abroad in the time of Covid?

Yes

Did you feel prepared for traveling abroad in the time of Covid?

Yes

What intrigued you most about the package you chose and which package did you decide on?

I initially purchased the Keres package but decided to upgrade to the Athena package because it included the streets of Santorini session and wall-art!
