Happy Fearlessly Feminine Friday ladies! Today i’m so excited to share some head shots of a babe I have the pleasure of working with regularly! Miss H is a rockstar stylist! She styles hair for many of my fearlessly feminine clients!
Miss H, I’m blessed to have you in my life as a friend and as a fellow lady boss! You keep me on my toes and my hair color on point!
- I feel excited
I feel excited when I create platforms for myself that I never thought possible. To have new goals, means you’ve accomplished your past ones…. And that is exciting.
- I feel proud
I feel proud when individuals I don’t know recognize my work. I’ve worked my ass ( am I aloud to say ass?) off for where I am now. Whenever the same people who thought I would fail after high school book appointments with me, that gives me life…. And buys me new shoes.
- I feel vulnerable
When I tell my story, and let someone see all facets of me. Being vulnerable is to be totally open, to let others into our hearts, souls, and minds. I have demons, fears, stretch marks, failures, successes, a beautiful boy, and PASSION. It’s vulnerability to allow someone or people to see all sides.
- I feel angry
When someone doesn’t realize nor reach their full potential. There is nothing that saddens me more than when I see a beautiful woman, and she hides behind the shadows of her husband. You have an identity, a purpose, freedom, and beauty. You don’t need to dim your sparkle to stand behind what common society says.
- I feel great
Whenever my rambunctious three year old pulls my chair out at dinner, has manners, and tells me he loves me more than batman( THATS HUGE). I feel as though I’m doing something right. Mark my words he will walk up to someone’s door rather than texting here…. Ladies, tell your daughters to look out in 15 years.
- I feel confident
Whenever someone asks my opinion, to me that’s them saying they don’t think I’m a total nut and they value what I have to say.
- I feel most powerful
Behind my chair, formulating colors like a scientist and painting them on like Picasso. Their hair and half of their physical identity is in my hands, and that’s exhilarating
- I really admire people who
Stand up for others, and themselves. Be the voice of the person whose weak, shy, scared, old, young, disabled, battered, or stubborn. Bullies will always be around, but in a world full of Regina George’s be a Damian. You go Glenn CoCo!!!!!
- My favorite rule to break is
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this through my Life, even just in passing, or read it in a book or article. ” question everything”. NO, do not question everything!!!!!! Question only the necessary. Things will fall into place, there is a life plan set for you and sometimes it’s way more fun to sit back and watch the plan expose itself. Go with the flow sometimes, don’t question your vacation days or your work load, go on that trip won your best friends, drink that extra vodka on the rocks…. And don’t let anyone stop you from wearing ” non matching patterns”. SLAY
- My best advice is
Grow up: and don’t accept everything you were told. The world has evolved and continues to evolve, change, and uncover new knowledge. Your teachers and parents weren’t right about EVERYTHING, never stop exploring for and learning answers for yourself.
- I build up other women by
Supporting, encouraging, and listening. Sometimes that’s all we as women need, just someone there.
- To me being Fearlessly Feminine means
To be confident in a full length dress with lashes to kill for and full on Angelina leg. Also, to be fully Confident in no makeup, a sweatshirt that says wine addict, and leopard pajama pants ( no I’m not wearing that right now……). I am beautiful, feminine, loving , successful, and blessed. We will always have fear, but be fearlessly fabulous, fearlessly loyal, fearlessly beautiful, not only physically but internally. Love crazily, stand up for the other fearlessly beautiful people, and KNOW YOUR WORTH AND YOUR AMAZINGLY OVERWHELMING BEAUTY.
