Why Destination Boudoir in Capri?
Lavish in the romance of bistro life, cheers a cocktail at the Gin Bar, or lounge at the La Fontelina Beach Club, in only the way an Italian can. This trip provides endless sights of sparkling water and a glimpse of gorgeous yachts from every vantage point. The moment you step off the ferry it’s an instant invitation to embark on a self-love affair. We invite you into a world where time moves a little slower and the view truly is prettier in person. How do i ACCESS CAPRI?
Capri is an island off the eastern coast of Italy! Capri is surrounded by the blue sparkling waters of Italy’s Tyrrhenian Sea in the southern Italian region of Campania. The island is connected to the mainland all year round via ferries and hydrofoils (high-speed ferries) that run from Naples and Sorrento. We recommend flying into Naples and taking a taxi or private transfer to the Ferry, where you will then travel by boat to the island of Capri! Once you’ve arrived in Capri, there will be a taxi service that can take you into the city or drop you off at your hotel! We are collaborating with Kelsey at Come & See Travel for this trip, and highly recommend getting in touch with her to help schedule your accommodations & transfers for the trip! *Keep in mind, you may have to walk a decent amount with your luggage depending on how close the taxi can get you to where you’ll be staying*
What to do in Capri?
Before and after your session, you’ll be free to relax and take in the sites of Capri, or even take the ferry over to the Amalfi Coast and visit the nearby cliffside village of Positano! Capri offers stunning views from every vantage point. Rent a boat for the day, lounge at an Italian beach club, sip an espresso at a local cafe, then peruse the winding roads lined with high-end designer shops! Grab dinner with a view, or people-watch in the city center.
Where to stay in Capri?
The FF Crew will be staying at the Villa in which the boudoir sessions will take place! Alisha and her husband have previously stayed at Hotel Sina Flora Capri, and we’ve heard incredible things about JK Place Capri! Airbnb & Vrbo are also great places to check out locally-owned homes and apartments, we just suggest looking over the reviews before you book anything!
*Side note! There are two main towns on the island: Capri and Anacapri. Note that the narrow, serpentine streets of “downtown” Capri don’t accommodate cars, so you’ll have to plan ahead to get your luggage to your destination. Your hotel will be able to facilitate a port-to-hotel transfer and if you’re staying somewhere without a concierge, the city operates a luggage porter system. We will be staying on the Capri side of the island, and recommend that you do the same for convenience!*
Where to eat & Drink in Capri?
- Mamma – A great spot to grab lunch or dinner! Seafood pasta & fish dishes in bright, elegant quarters with blue accents, plus incredible views of the gulf!
- Da Paolino – To dine here is to dine beneath a canopy of citrus. Be sure to order a Caprese salad and lemon spaghetti! And of course, no meal in Italy is complete without a bit of limoncello for dessert!
- Villa Verde – For dinner with a side of nightlife, head to Villa Verde. Seafood is their specialty but the entire menu is incredible!
- Pulalli Capri – Pulalli is an extraordinary wine bar with one of the most memorable locations in the world, just next to Capri’s picture-perfect clocktower overlooking the main Piazzetta square.
What should I wear while in Capri?
Once you’ve booked your session, it will be hard to not want to immediately start adding things to your cart as your daydream about your session! We’ll send you the FF Style Guide and a Guide to Preparing for your Travels and Session, but for now, we are loving these looks and think they would make for incredible outfits during your travels and for your shoot!

I love the storytelling behind photography and especially with boudoir. The shoot in Greece was my 2nd boudoir shoot with my first being in Paris back in 2019 with the FF team. I chose to shoot in Paris because it was a celebration of where I am from, both culturally and who I am as a woman. I am Asian-American and also part French and it felt incredible to embrace my femininity in Paris. In my mid-20s, I had to cancel a fully funded trip to Greece because of work pressure. I didn’t think I would shoot another boudoir session so close to my first one. However, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot in Greece, because this time, I was celebrating myself as an independent woman, no longer succumbing to work or societal pressures. I said “Yes!” to Greece because this experience was my way of celebrating who I had become. – Miss T
The FF team creates such a unique opportunity to honor yourself. I’ve done two shoots with the team and both times have helped me reconnect with a different part of who I am not only as a person but as a strong woman. There is something so real, so raw, and beautiful about stripping it all down (literally) and leaning into yourself.

I had heard good things about the FF team from friends and have always wanted to go to Greece! Combining two bucket list items into one was a big sell for me. I normally like to plan vacations myself but given this was more of a relaxing trip as opposed to a go-and-see-all-of-the-sights trip, I appreciated it being planned and not having to do a thing myself… I very much appreciated all of the guidance! Having this as my first session, I literally had no idea what I was doing or how to pose in a way that the camera liked. All suggestions on poses and locations eased my worries about that! I also loved that the team was flexible and able to think on their feet quickly and incorporate my cigar into the shoot. – Miss C
