The last time I was in Durham, I photographed six back-to-back babes in one whirlwind weekend—and let me tell you, it felt like a full-on celebration from my perspective. ✨

This work? It lights me up. There’s nothing I love more than witnessing a woman walk out of her session with her self-love tank overflowing and that unmistakable it girl glow in her eyes.

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I chose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot because, from first reviewing Alisha’s work and the purposeful intention she puts into her images, I knew she was the person I would entrust with this shoot. This is not a regular photo shoot – Alisha honestly cares wholeheartedly and makes sure everything is done ever so perfectly. Alisha was so easy to communicate with about the entire process and made everything incredibly smooth.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was truly embracing myself and my worth. I was honestly nervous and felt awkward at first before the experience, however, Alisha was able to get me out of my comfort zone and be comfortable in my own body. This was an incredibly beautiful moment for me, and enabled me to realize that I am enough. I am completely satisfied with where my life is going, and I want to continue to grow as a person. I am grateful to Fearlessly Feminine for enabling such a wonderful experience for me.

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

It made me feel empowered and emboldened to be more adventurous in the bedroom. The conversation of sex and sexuality can be so diluted at times that people lose sight of what makes them who they are. This provided me with more confidence to be more vibrant and sensual with my partner.

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I would love to! This brings me so much joy and confidence to be myself in the comfort of my own body. I never knew how beautiful I felt or looked until I saw the stunning photos.

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?

I would love to! To anyone looking for a pure confidence boost to illuminate their self-worth, this is for you. Any future brides out there, this is also a wonderful gift for your groom.

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?

I looked up some bridal boudoir sessions on Pinterest as well as regular boudoir sessions to provide Alisha with an idea of what I was looking for in my session. On the day of the shoot, I went to H20 in Durham and had my hair and makeup done before meeting with Alisha for the shooting – they did such a wonderful job! In addition to the hair and makeup, I had purchased several pieces of lingerie, a veil, and a garter.

What image was your favorite?

My favorite image is the color photo looking down the hallway on top of the staircase.

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?

I went with the Savvy Collection! I received an 8×8 album, wall art, my gallery, and an app! I am delighted that I chose this option!
