I have the privilege of working with Kana often!  She’s my go-to make up artist when I’m scheduling my clients! I love collaborating with her on shoots for her magazine, and I display Love it! Evv proudly on my coffee table!  

So, naturally, I was very excited when she asked me to shoot some updated head shots of her that highlight her role as editor of her popular magazine!

I am all about  capturing beautiful moments. The beauty world takes up such a big portion of my life: being a facialist, makeup artist and Editor in Chief of Love IT! EVV Magazine, I care HOW those moments are captured. Quality is top priority.

I did this shoot a while back with Alisha, but that is the great thing about capturing moments: you can look back on them for years to come. These photos, and all of my photos taken by Alisha, fit perfectly into my mantra this year, “Do less with more focus.” This year I want to focus on growing my esthetic business, The Beauty Room, which is all about beauty inside & out. While most people are getting new additions in their lives like husbands & babies, I’m not there yet… but I have gotten into a serious commitment with Love IT! EVV Magazine, a new kind of magazine for the Evansville and surrounding areas. It dives deeper into every aspect of beauty with fresh and fun insight on what’s going on around town.

I believe my purpose is to shed LIGHT on what it means to create your own kind of beauty. The loveliness of the lighting in these photos captures that perfectly.

Stepping into Alisha’s condo always makes my heart flutter. It makes you feel like you are in a swank big city loft living it up! She always makes me feel comfortable when we are shooting, and her team is always very helpful. I love (and will continue) recommending the FF team to anyone looking for fun, flirty, inspiring, quality photos!
