Lots of people talk about all the grand adventures they’ll go on, but few actually do. For a long time I was one of those babes wondering how in the world I was going to make all my travel dreams happen.

Girl, I see you. You’re not alone. To be frank, I made the mistake of getting married at 21 instead of studying abroad in Italy. (stupid, stupid, stupid) I never made it abroad until after I was 25.  I was stuck dreaming and not doing, waiting until that “someday”… you know the one… that magical day when all the stars perfectly align. Well, it never came.

I made it to Paris for the first time when I was 27. How, you ask? I quit dreaming and started DOING. I saved my pennies, got a credit card that racked up miles, and made me a priority. Traveling makes me liberated, empowered and downright fabulous. I’ll always be the girl that collects experiences over things!
