Miss B was an absolute blast to shoot with! You can see her personality bubbling through in her photos, and I love how fearless she was in her session! She responded to a model call I had, and then she was also able to gift her images to her husband. Win-win for everyone all around!!

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I chose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot, because I wanted to have a time in my life captured. As cliche as it sounds, you only live one time! I was tired of living in a constant state of “Right now, I hate ‘X’ about my body.” Instead I wanted to just be forgiving and say “Right now, I am in love with my body”. At the time I was newly engaged and planning a wedding. Talk a bout a stressful time in life! So much to do, so much to plan, so much to prepare! On that list of things to prepare was my body! Instead of making some super strict work out regimen and crazy fad diet, I chose to message Alisha. I am so glad I did! Instead of trying to change my body, I just tried to love my body. SEE my body from an outside view. I wanted this time of self love and acceptance captured. I am SO grateful I did! I now have an entire printed ALBUM of my beautiful body, and I am living for it! I. LOVE. MY. BODY. I love my weird legs. I love my little bitty ta- tas. I love my little perky tush. No matter what. I am choosing to be forgiving, and just love my body, because who wants to live a life of hate?!

What was your favorite part of the experience?

My ultimate favorite part of the entire shoot was that my bestie was there getting photos taken of herself! I LOVED yelling “Yes girlllllll, work it!” As weird as it sounds we are totally comfortable in front of each other naked. Being a source of support to another woman is always satisfying, especially when we all know we ourselves are in need of that support. It was honestly just an amazing day from beginning to end. Mimosas, wine, girl power, love, make-up, fun poses, girl talk, more self – love. I mean HOW am I supposed to narrow that down to favorite parts, when really the entire experience was to die for.

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

I felt full of confidence. I felt so beautiful and supported by Alisha and her team.

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

Is that even a question – Heck Yes!

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?

Yes! I would LOVE to shove my mother in front of the lens! I would just love to know that she gets to feel the way I do about my body, about her own body. Honestly, I would tell every female to have a session! It is not something you will regret! Just go for it! You deserve to accept and love your body too!

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?

I took a nice long shower the night before, because I love a good steamy shower where all 5 of our mirrors in the bathroom are completely covered in steam! I had a mani/pedi the day before. Before that I went on a shopping spree in the mall to pick out pieces that made me feel like my best self.

The preparation for the shoot was completely full of self-care! The whole nine yards: face masks, shower scrubs, hair conditioning treatments, and the best smelling lotions!

What image was your favorite?

Oh girl, no. I could never choose one! I equally loved all of them. Each photo showed a different angle, and a different way to view my body. Each and every photo made me realize how much I love my body!

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?

I chose to take home an album to keep for myself. I had it personalized with a word that means so much to my husband and me. I showed my husband and then stole the album back to keep for myself! I also received a flash drive of my images to have printed for when I wanted to remind my husband of how lucky he was to have me! Haha! If you want ideas on how to slip the photos into your significant other’s day – just ask Alisha, that girl is creative! :). I also now have an app to view my photos at any time. I am so happy I chose these items. I love having the photos physically in my hands.
