Miss A. wanted to give her fiancé a wedding gift that would last a lifetime, so she came to me about doing a boudoir shoot! I’ve had the privilege of working with her on other projects, but I was exceptionally excited to photograph her boudoir session! 

We pinned, planned and chatted about how she wanted to be photographed! I was more than thrilled with all the outfits she chose! I always encourage my clients to bring a couple outfits they feel amazing in and at least one that’s out of their comfort zone. This babe, knocked it out of the park!

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I wanted to do a shoot for my fiance as a wedding gift.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

Buying lingerie! Before this shoot I believed all lingerie came from VS, but with Alisha’s guidance I have several new brands that I am loving!

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

I went into the experience initially very nervous, but once I started receiving emails and pointers from Alisha I was very excited. Then, on the day of the shoot with all the hair and makeup I honestly felt on top of the world. It is very empowering to conquer something that once made you feel nervous and in the end be so comfortable with it. It really makes you want to try new things all the time.

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

Yes! Absolutely. I see Alisha’s blogs and it gives me all sorts of idea of things that I may want to do in the future. There will be lots of birthdays and anniversaries that I am sure will be deserving of a new updated album. 🙂

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?

Yes, any of my girlfriends should do a shoot. My husband loved the book and was so excited to receive it and I am sure their husbands would be too!

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?

I bought and tried on different lingerie and styles to find outfits that I felt comfortable in. I did go to the gym, but I do that anyways. It is something my fiance and I do every day at lunch but I may have pushed myself a little harder in the days leading up to the shoot.

What image was your favorite?

My favorite image is the one of me laying on the bed with my feet up. I really feel like it came straight out of a magazine. It is so funny that it felt weird doing it but the photo came out great.

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?

I purchased the hard cover book and I am very happy with the way it turned out
