This session with Miss M was a total bridal boudoir dream! She wanted to do the session as a gift to her husband that really emphasized the fantasy of her “getting ready” for him on their wedding day. Her lingerie and accessory choices were very light, natural, classic, and sophisticated, which is exactly what she told me she wanted.
I am the one in five women* who will be raped at some point in their life. I am the one in three women* who will experience some sort of sexual violence during their lifetime. I am one of the 63% of individuals* who do not report their sexual assault to law enforcement.
I want to share a little part of my story with you. I don’t like to call myself a survivor because I’m not sure that is the right term to use, but I went through something like a lot of other people out there; however, there is more to my story than just being raped or sexually assaulted.
I’m over the moon Miss K came in for a session back in January and I was even more excited to get her client feedback survey and hear all the ways this session lead to her spending more time on self care, self love and just an overall investment in herself! Seriously, my absolute favorite part of being a photographer is getting to celebrate and encourage women.
