The very first time this gorgeous mama stepped into the studio, she told me, “I’ll be back for maternity boudoir.” And baby… when I tell you I adore a woman with a plan? Consider me obsessed. Motherhood Era sessions are becoming more and more something I deeply love documenting for my clients.
This session was a full-body celebration of change, creation, and that wild & sacred magic that comes with growing a new life. Expecting a tiny human who is half you and half the love of your life? That deserves to be documented in the most stunning, soul-affirming way possible.
Miss D chose a Motherhood Era Session and elevated it with not one, but two Featured Series: Aphrodite and Immersion, and listen… my jaw was on the floor.
The Immersion series added that partner celebration we were looking for! We shot these dark, moody, dreamy. Soft, sensual, and wildly emotive!
The Aphrodite Series during maternity? Absolute poetry. We didn’t name this series after the goddess of love and fertility for nothing. The way it highlights the bump, the softness, the divine feminine energy? It’s giving sacred, it’s giving powerful, it’s giving main-character mama energy!
If you’ve ever thought, “I’ll do a session after…” the baby is here, after the weight shifts, after life slows down, consider this your sign. This season deserves to be celebrated now. And I promise, you’ve never looked more worthy of being photographed, and your future self will want to remember this season!
Miss D, thank you for trusting me with such a tender, transformative chapter of your story. Your body has done something extraordinary, and it was an honor to document the occasion, not just for you, but for the woman you’ll look back and remember you were right here: radiant, powerful, and deeply in love with the life you’re creating. 🤍

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?
I love Alisha’s aesthetic and the way she captures the natural beauty of each of her subjects! When I came across her work online, I knew immediately that I wanted to see myself captured through her lens and feel beautiful like a piece of art.

What was your favorite part of the experience?
I have worked with Alisha for 2 different photoshoots, and my favorite part of both was just the relaxed nature or how she and Lindsay go with the flow. They provide great instruction on posing, which can sometimes feel stuffy or forced with other photographers, but never does with Alisha. She makes the experience fun, light-hearted, and effortless!

How did your boudoir session make you feel?
Both my boudoir and my maternity boudoir sessions left me feeling beautiful, radiant, and light as air. I felt pampered from the hair and make-up session that took place before the shoot, and I felt excited to see how the pictures would turn out!

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?
I would absolutely do another shoot with Fearlessly Feminine again, and probably will!

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?
I’d recommend a boudoir shoot with Fearlessly Feminine to anyone looking to capture their feminine power in a bottle! It is so nice having the photos to look back on as my body changes throughout time and to remember and feel the empowerment of how good I felt in that moment.

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?
Other than making sure I was shaved and exfoliated, I didn’t do anything special to prepare for the photoshoots.
What image was your favorite?
There are too many favorites to choose!

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?
I chose an 8×8 photo book for both of my sessions, and a couple pieces of 8×10 metal wall art. I love the choices I made! The wall art from my maternity boudoir session decorates my daughter’s nursery, and the photo books from both sessions allowed me to have a good sample (20 photos each) of the pictures taken from the shoots.
