Hi ya’ll! Steph here- I’m coming out from behind the camera today to talk about how I fell in love with boudoir. My first session with Alisha was last year when she contacted me about modeling for a bridal shoot for Engaged River Valley Magazine. I had wanted to do a session for years and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
I had recently gone through a divorce, became a single mom of three kids, and was on my own for the first time ever. I felt lost….and I needed to find myself again. I felt invisible and like my only identity was being a mother for the past ten years. To say that I needed to gain some self confidence and #selflove is a drastic understatement.
I left this photoshoot with a confidence that I had never felt. I felt bold, strong, and beautiful.
…and that is when I completely fell in love with the Fearlessly Feminine experience.
Fast forward a year, and here we are. Now I get to help women feel the way I did that day. Being a boudoir photographer is so much more than just the images for me, it’s about the way a woman feels when she leaves our studio.
As women, it is so easy for us to take care of everyone else and to put ourselves last. A Fearlessly Feminine shoot is all about YOU. We go above and beyond to make sure that this is an experience unlike any other.
One of my favorite parts of the job is seeing how differently every woman walks out of their session. When a woman leaves the studio beaming because she remembered who she was, and that she was a fearless babe, I know that I did my job!
For so long, I felt like I couldn’t embrace the fearless, bold, sensual side of me, and that is such a shame. We should all not only embrace, but love that side of ourselves!
So let’s do it babes. I am so ready to fill up my books with boudoir sessions! What are you waiting for?
I promise to be your biggest hype girl!
You deserve to feel sexy and confident!
If you’ve made it to the end of this, congratulations! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope that it inspired you in some way. Be bold, be kind, and be fearlessly you babes.
