I met Miss M for the first time in Paris while photographing one of her girlfriends and was so excited when she choose to book a shoot for herself! Once we started planning and decided that she really wanted to do the session in Boston, I packed up and headed her way! ✈️ I had so much fun traveling to Boston! She rented us a glamourous Airbnb to shoot in with epic floor to ceiling windows and if you know me, beautiful natural light is my jam!

We focused on breath-taking bridal imagery and honoring her engagement season. I’m so happy with how her album came out!

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I chose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot after seeing one of my good friends have an amazing experience during her Paris destination shoot. I had recently gotten engaged and knew that this would make the best gift for my fiance and even more so for myself. I actually had the opportunity to meet Alisha in Paris, so I knew going with the Fearlessly Feminine team for my own shoot would be the best choice.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

I don’t think I could pick a single part, so much of it was amazing. I felt such a high from the shoot itself and then going through and picking my photos was so much fun. The only difficult part of the experience is keeping it a secret from my fiance because I’m so excited to give it to him!

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

The boudoir session made me feel so confident and sexy! As a bride planning a wedding, it’s so easy to get caught up in the process and image of what a bride is “supposed” to look like. You’ve gone through the dress buying process and there’s so much pressure from the industry or “perfect” images on social media. Doing a boudoir shoot during wedding planning gave me so much love for what my body could do. I look at my boudoir photos as a reminder that I’m beautiful as I am and that getting wrapped up in perceptions or comparisons is not worth my time.

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I would 100% do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot! The experience from booking the shoot to receiving the photos was amazing and Alisha, along with the supporting team, made me feel so comfortable with the prep guides throughout the session itself. Alisha has such a great eye and provides awesome direction.

What image was your favorite?

My favorite image was the one taken from a side profile where I’m on my tip toes and posed mostly off the couch. I love the feminine lines that I never thought my body could do and it looks like such an artistic piece. It doesn’t hurt that my short legs look super long!

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?

As a bride myself, I’d definitely recommend a session to all brides as a must-have part of the engagement. I’d honestly recommend specifically a Fearlessly Feminine experience for anyone needing a boost in self-care and confidence, as I don’t think you can find such a great hype team anywhere else.

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?

The guides that the Fearlessly Feminine team provided in prep were invaluable! It was so much fun to search for new lingerie and implementing an at-home self-care routine was such a treat for myself. Stretching was also a key part of my prep – I think I underestimated how important this would be. I was also all over Pinterest, Google, and the Fearlessly Feminine site trying to pick a handful of images that captured the essence of what I was hoping for and then just trusted Alisha to do her thing from there.

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?

I picked the Classic Collection and I’m so incredibly happy with what I chose. It was so hard to narrow down my images because so many were gorgeous, so I even purchased some more to add on. I’m so excited to gift it to my new husband!
