This session with Miss M was a total bridal boudoir dream! She wanted to do the session as a gift to her husband that really emphasized the fantasy of her “getting ready” for him on their wedding day. Her lingerie and accessory choices were very light, natural, classic, and sophisticated, which is exactly what she told me she wanted.

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I have always wanted to do a boudoir shoot but never had the courage to follow through with it. It was my upcoming wedding that helped me make the decision to take the leap. I’ve never been able to accept and love my body and it sometimes impacts my relationship. I wanted something I could surprise my future husband with, something he would love and cherish not only because it was a some sexy photos of me but because it was me accepting and being proud of everything I am. Everything he loves and tries to get me to love.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part, outside of the gorgeous end results, was working with the ladies at Fearlessly Feminine! They work to help you navigate that inner naysayer and truly connect with your inner goddess. The support and love they show you leaves little to no room for those negative nasty thoughts about yourself. The ladies work with you to ensure you’re comfortable and that you get EXACTLY what you want!

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

Talk about empowering. Sexy and strong. Unstoppable because I was embracing who I am. All of my “flaws” and imperfections that make me unique!

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

Absolutely!! I also loove the idea of a couples session!

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?

I started out researching different boudoir photographs to see what style or poses I liked. I worked to determine what feel I wanted to portray. Did I want it more sultry and seductive or more secretive and sexy? Then, I started on my accessories and outfits. The piece that was a constant was my battle with my inner naysayer. The inner voice telling me this was a terrible idea and moment of the photos were going to turn out. That I was going to hate each and every photo. There were a number of times I’d stand in front of my full length, bare naked, just focusing on the things I love about my body. Focusing on the areas I don’t like and finding positives to tell myself about those areas.

What image was your favorite?

There’s one specific imagine where I’m laying back on the bed propped up on one hand, curled up in the sheets with my knee hiked up just a little, where I’m looking off from the camera laughing/smiling. My nipple just barely getting ready to sneak out from the bed sheets. BUT then there is the series we took downstairs on the living room floor where I have my legs crossed over and I’m sitting up. OR even the ones where I’m on the side on the bed, off the corner. Those booty shots! And the shot where I’m reaching forwards on the bed, looking directly at the camera with a soft smile, and my booty showing in the background! There are just so many I am in absolute love with!

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?

Would I? The better question is how long will I continue to.. I have already recommended a session a number of times since my shoot!

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?

I went with the middle package offered with the view finder, album, and digital files. I can’t wait to give my groom the little teaser (the viewfinder) the morning of and then spend our first morning together as Mr and Mrs, going through the album I am saving to surprise him with when we’re together and I can be there to see his reactions.
